Entrepreneurs unite at a conference in Gilbert, Arizona to advocate global civility

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, JUNE 17, 2018 – An international group of entrepreneurs gathered at the Falls Event Center in Gilbert, Arizona, to attend the Productive Business Summit on June 16, 2018. The conference was organized by Dr. Vernet A. Joseph, a productivity speaker, best-selling author and the Founder/CEO of Live To Produce Enterprises, LLC. The day-long conference involved workshops about business strategies, and awards were given there to a wide variety of community leaders from the US and other countries.

At the Summit, the motivational speakers ranged from the P & V Consulting Group CEO from Guatemala—Renan Gonzalez—who stressed that principles and values are as integral as strategy and execution to business success, and Washington DC lawyer Tasha Cooper, who provided practical tips about using social media, to Even Steven Sandwich Shop’s creator Steve Down and leadership speaker Dr. Will Moreland, whose personal stories demonstrated ways of overcoming hardships, and achieving clarity and success.

The awards were presented by Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Honorary Ambassador at Large of the Republic of Burundi. Rivers has earned innumerable awards, including, in 2017, the United States Presidential Life Achievement Award for over 4,000 hours of serving the nation and humanity. He is also the Founder and President of IChange Nations (ICN), which improves the quality of life throughout the world by emphasizing honor, trust, dignity, and civil discourse.

Examples of the Golden Rule awards given out at the Summit for Arizonans included recognition for World Civility, Women Add Value (Tamika Williams), Distinguished Leadership (Alvin Heggs) and Challenged Champions and Heroes (Dr. Angela Allen). Denise Meridith received the ICN Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Presidential Award, established in 2015 in honor of his protection of the environment of Ethiopia.

Seven United Graduate College and Seminary International (UGCSI) Honorary Doctorates were bestowed at the conference to Vernet Joseph, Daniel Voss, Paul Ramos, Delia Andrea Montoya, Will Moreland, Jamal Cummins and Marquez Hughley.

In an era where long-held international alliances and treaties are being threatened, this event focused on the value of collaboration and ways of executing its power. IChangeNations seeks to bring back “the art of honor.” Its newest attendees and honorees will continue to practice, and advocate the embrace of the golden rule throughout the world.
